The plan against where we are

The plan is board minute MIS-GOV-MIN-2026-017 and the MiDesk build plan of 14 October: everything lives in the cloud and the Mac is only a screen. I checked each stage against the live desk, its feeds, the scheduled-task list and the code at 8:20 this morning. It is day 2 of a build that runs to Wednesday 21 October.

Short answer. The core is in place and running without the Mac: the store, the sign-in door, the desk at desk.misonics.com.au, the feeds and Ask Claude. Behind schedule: the AI module only answers questions so far. It does not yet rate enquiries, file the drop folder or draft the daily minute. The desk still looks like the old desk, not the layout you approved. Live connection lights are not built. One press of yours (Allow, as sales@) holds up two of these.

Not built: Search Console and Analytics figures (needs your Allow press for Analytics). The rankings card on the desk is not wired up, although the rankings run each morning. Not built: Gmail enquiry pick-up, and marking a lead answered when you reply. Only website-form enquiries reach the desk.
3. The desk itself	Fri 16	Part done	Live: Talk & share bar, Ask Claude, Money, Alerts, To do, Leads, Minutes, Feeds, Store, People. Not done: the layout you approved on 16 Oct (directory on the left, clocks and business at a glance on the front, sub-dashboards that open and collapse). It exists only as a mockup file on your Mac. Not done: Drafts page and Prospect Finder folded in. The old Business Desk artifacts are not yet set read-only. Not clean: 34 alerts show as open, and many are left over from Mac jobs that no longer exist (Mac drop folder, Mac records backup, HubSpot, usage limit, Ahrefs renewal, Ads link).
4. AI module and approval gate	Fri 16	Part done	Ask Claude, the Approve gate and the spend meter are live (passed 15 Oct 8:28 pm; US$0.09 used this month of the US$28 cap). Not done: rating new enquiries, deciding where a dropped file goes, drafting the daily minute, the weekly read. Drop filing works, but as a Claude scheduled job three times a weekday, not as the module. The website's Drive key is read-only until you press Allow. The stage's pass test is not met yet: a test invoice filed and a test enquiry rated within 15 minutes, with no Claude job and no Mac.
5. Mac jobs and Claude clean-up	Sat 17	Part done	Brought forward to 15 Oct: 52 old jobs deleted, kept jobs rewritten to post to the desk. Recurring Misonics jobs: 6 against a target of 4. Drop filing (cloud) and the uncoded expense check (cloud) are extra, along with pay run, site health (Mac), business listings (Mac) and Reddit answers (Mac). Breaks the cloud rule: the Reddit job saves its page to LOOK HERE on your Mac. Social posts job not built; it waits on a Publish button on the desk.
6. Security and the record	Sat 17	Part done	Done: website key rotated and the old key refused everywhere; the connector has its own key; Google Vault keeps every Drive file and every @misonics email (16 Oct); sales@ holds Vault rights. Not done: the subscriptions, connections and schedule registers as views of the store, filed nightly. Not done: owner checks for a sale: Cloudflare super admin and billing to sales@; owners of the GitHub organisation, Xero, Twilio, Snipcart; who owns Analytics, Search Console and Google Ads. 2-Step Verification is not yet enforced (your press).

Live connection lights, checked from the cloud	Not built	The health feed checks the website, the forms and each feed's heartbeat. It does not check whether Xero, Google, Microsoft or the Claude connectors are still signed in. A light set by hand is not acceptable, so this has to be code.

Is the Mac only a screen yet?

Not fully. These still sit on, or depend on, the Mac:

LOOK HERE — WEBSITE on the Desktop is still where finished work is delivered (the dashboard mockup, the Reddit answers). In the target, these go on the desk as a "For you" list, with files on the company drive.
Reddit answers job writes to the Mac. It should write to the desk.
Business listings and site health need your Chrome. The plan accepts these two because those sites have no other door.
Monthly pay run uses Xero in your Chrome. The plan had the pay run drafted through the Xero payroll API, which is not built yet.

Everything else (feeds, store, desk, backup, AI module, Vault, drop filing) runs with the Mac off.

Your presses

~~Allow, once, signed in as sales@, for Drive read-write and Analytics.~~ Done 16 Oct, 8:40 am This unlocks drop filing by the desk itself (no Claude job) and the Search Console and Analytics figures. It is the most useful press on this list.
Enforce 2-Step Verification in Google Admin.
Cloudflare: make sales@ a super administrator and the billing contact. Also create the API token for customer invitations, needed by Tuesday.
Sunday evening: sign the cut-over minute on the desk.
Wednesday: Stripe key, webhook and a real A$1 order.

For each one I open the exact screen with everything filled in, so all you press is the last button.

What I do next, in this order

Clear the stale alerts from retired Mac jobs, so the alert count is true.
Build the live connection lights as a feed: Xero, Google, Microsoft, Claude connectors, each with a last-checked time. A light goes amber when its check is late.
Build the approved front page into the desk: left directory, clocks, business at a glance, Talk & share on top, sub-dashboards that open and collapse.
Teach the AI module to rate enquiries and draft the daily minute. Drop filing moves into it after your Allow press, and the drop-filing Claude job is then deleted.
Move the Reddit job's output onto the desk; add a "For you" list so nothing new lands in LOOK HERE.
Registers (subscriptions, connections, schedule) as views of the store; owner checks for a sale recorded.
Then the soak (Sat to Sun), stock ledger (Mon), customer admin (Tue) and Stripe (Wed) as booked.
